The Match For Africa 5 To Benefit Children's Education in Africa

Bill Gates, Mircosoft founder and philanthropist and Savannah Guthrie, Co-host of the "Today Show" are not normally names you would expect to associate with a tennis match, but last night they teamed up with World Number 1 tennis champion Roger Federer, fresh from his win at the Australian Open, and Jack Sock for an Exhibition Match in San Jose to benefit the Roger Federer Foundation.

Over 15,000 people turned out to the SAP Center to support the event and see a singles match between the two tennis pros and a doubles match with Federer teaming up with Bill Gates and  Jack Sock partnering Savannah Guthrie.

The evening raised over $2.5 million for The Roger Federer Foundation, whose aim is to provide education to children in African nations. Sponsorship was provided by Credit Suisse, Rolex and Barilla.
