Some of the best love stories begin with friendship, and for Gaby and McKinley, that couldn't be more true.

Gaby and McKinley met during Gaby's sophomore year of college after being introduced by a mutual friend. What started as an instant friendship quickly grew into a meaningful connection. Over the years, they became best friends, sharing countless memories, milestones, and adventures together before their relationship naturally blossomed into something more.

When it came time to plan the proposal, McKinley knew he wanted every detail to be perfect. He worked closely with Nancy at Heller Jewelers to secretly design Gaby's dream engagement ring, creating a piece that reflected both her style and their unique love story.

In May, McKinley planned a surprise proposal along the shores of Lake Tahoe. What Gaby thought was a simple day by the water quickly turned into one of the most unforgettable moments of her life. Surrounded by the beauty of the sandy beach, crystal-clear lake views, and a place filled with special memories, McKinley got down on one knee with a Heller box in hand and asked Gaby to marry him.

Through happy tears and an enthusiastic "yes," the couple celebrated the beginning of their next chapter together—the moment they had been dreaming about for years.
